Can I search the text inside my screenshots afterwards?

Yes. Enable "Make text searchable" before converting and Docqify recognises the text on your device, then embeds it as an invisible layer aligned with the image. The page looks unchanged, but the words can be selected, copied and found with Ctrl+F.

Do screenshots of different sizes still line up?

Yes. Choose a page size such as A4 or Letter and every screenshot is fitted to it consistently, or use "Fit to image" so each page takes the exact proportions of its screenshot. Long scrolling captures are handled the same way.

Is the OCR really free?

Yes, with no account and no page cap. The recognition engine is served from this site and runs in your browser, so there is no per-page API cost to pass on to you — and your screenshots are never sent anywhere.
