Privacy Policy

Every conversion — reading your images, decoding HEIC, recognising text, building the PDF — happens locally, in your browser, using your device’s own processor. Your files are never transmitted to us or to anyone else, and we never receive, store or process them.

This is enforced by the browser rather than promised by us. Docqify is served with a Content Security Policy containing connect-src 'self', which makes the page structurally incapable of opening a connection to any other origin. You can verify it yourself in the response headers, without taking our word for anything or reading a line of our code.

Docqify saves a small amount of data locally so the app is usable. All of it lives on your device, none of it is sent anywhere, and you can delete all of it at any time.

• Your working document.The images and PDFs you add are held in your browser’s IndexedDB storage (a database named docqify) so that a refresh or a closed tab does not lose your work, and so recent conversions can be reopened.
• Your preferences. One localStorage entry (docqify-ui) holding your theme, contrast, motion and grid-density choices.
• The app itself.The service worker caches Docqify’s own pages, scripts and styles so it keeps working offline. This contains no personal data.
• Shared files, briefly. On Android, if you share images to Docqify from another app, they are placed in a temporary cache for the moment it takes to hand them to the editor, then cleared.

To erase everything, use “Clear history” in the app, or clear site data for this domain in your browser settings. Both genuinely delete the bytes — there is no copy anywhere else.

Docqify sets no cookies. It contains no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels and no third-party scripts of any kind. Fonts are served from our own domain rather than a font CDN, and the HEIC decoder and text-recognition engine ship with the page instead of being fetched from elsewhere. Loading Docqify makes no request to any domain other than our own.

The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, their servers necessarily receive the technical details of a request in order to answer it — your IP address, your browser and operating system, and which page you asked for — and these may be retained briefly in operational logs for security and reliability. This is a normal consequence of visiting any website, it applies to the page itself and never to your files, and we do not combine it with anything else or use it to build a profile of you.

Docqify is a general-purpose tool with no accounts and no data collection, so it holds no information about anyone, including children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from any user of any age, because we do not collect personal data at all.

Data-protection laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, export or delete the personal data a company holds about you, and to know whether it is sold or shared.

We hold none. There is no account to access, no database to correct, no export to request, and nothing to sell or share — we have never possessed your files or your personal data in the first place. The data described above sits on your device, under your control, and clearing your browser storage removes it completely.

If Docqify ever changes how it handles data, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change. Any change that would involve collecting information from you would be a fundamental change to what this product is, and would be stated here plainly rather than buried.
