Why does my name show as question marks?

Because a PDF form draws its answers using one of the fonts built into the format, and those cover Latin letters and accents but not Devanagari, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Cyrillic or Greek. The value you typed is stored correctly — software reading the form gets it exactly right — but anyone looking at the page sees question marks. Docqify checks what you type and names the characters that will not appear, rather than letting you find out after sending it.

My PDF has no fields to fill in. Why?

It is probably a form that was printed and scanned, or exported as a flat page. There are no real fields in it, only a picture of some lines and boxes. Nothing can be typed into that — but you can still complete it by placing a signature, and Docqify will tell you the fields are absent rather than showing you an empty list and letting you wonder.

Can the form still be edited after I fill it?

Yes, unless you choose otherwise. The answers are written as form values, so the file that comes back is still a form and a mistake can be corrected. If you would rather it could not be changed, switch on making the answers permanent — that draws them into the page and removes the fields.

Is my filled form uploaded anywhere?

No. Forms are where people put their address, date of birth and bank details, which is exactly why this runs in your browser. The page ships a Content Security Policy that blocks connections to any other origin, so there is no request that could carry it even in principle.

The form arrives as it left off

A PDF form is a set of real fields, and the honest way to fill one is to type into them rather than to paste text on top and hope it lines up. Docqify reads the fields out of the document — text boxes, tick boxes, dropdowns, radio groups — shows them as a normal form, and writes your answers back where they belong. Anything already filled in comes through filled in, so a form you started yesterday is not blank today.

Every field type a form uses is handled, and each is shown as the control it actually is rather than as a text box for everything.
Fields the form locks are shown but not editable, because seeing a reference number you cannot change is more useful than not seeing it.
What comes back is still a form, so an answer can be corrected later. Making it permanent is a switch you turn on, not something that happens to you.
